Potty Trained...check!

Well, I don't want to jinx myself, but Landon is pretty much potty trained! And all it took was one afternoon with Daddy! It was pretty amazing...I had been slowly working with him and encouraging him for months now and he never really clicked with me. We had decided that this weekend would be the weekend to kick start potty training again (aka Potty Boot Camp). On Friday we had spent the day at the beach and when we got home I was super exhausted, so Elle and I took a little nap. In the few hours of us napping, Paul had Landon going pee pee on the potty! Daddy was the answer! Maybe it has something to do with the same 'nether regions', but Landon really did well with Paul and all weekend long he has been doing great! Only 2 accidents in the last 3 days! And we haven't been stuck in the house the whole time...we've ventured out and Landon has told us each time when he has to go! We have been using the 'reward system' where every time he goes on the potty he either gets a treat or a new toy. And he got a BIG prize when he went number 2 on the potty for the first time! So, I think he thinks this whole going on the potty thing is a pretty good idea! :) We are just so proud of him and are SO happy he is not in diapers or pull-ups anymore! Wooohooo!!! Now only 1 in diapers...we can handle that!

Landon going pee pee and pretty darn proud of himself!

Softball

Paul and I joined an adult softball league that our Church participates in and it's been a lot of fun so far. Last year Paul was the best hitter and had the best batting average in the league. And I am having fun playing catcher...the spot on the field for the person who doesn't quite understand the game well haha. I can hit and throw the ball, but when it comes to knowing where in a fast reaction time to throw the ball I'm not their gal. :) But, we're having fun and so are the kiddos! These pics were taken a few games ago and it was a very cold day. Maybe I'll get the camera out on one of these sunny days and take some more pics!

Both kids are facing forward now in the car!

Landon's favorite thing to do at softball is find a great stick and walk around like he's the King of the world.
He's the best guy ever! I love him so much!

This is what Landon calls 'The Mountain'. It's a big pile of dirt that has hardened and is just a big hill now. He loves to play on it with the other kiddos.

Sweet baby girl loves to sit in the dug out with us.
Mountain man. :)
Our team is full of a bunch of our friends from Church. They are awesome people!
Paul hitting a home run!
Me hitting...the ball...sort of. haha
Practicing!
It was pretty cold and like normal I was freezing, so I had about 5 layers underneath our uniform. I looked like the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters.
Elle was nicely snuggled in the stroller with all of her layers and boots. :)
A little more playing...
1820...our numbers from college. And again, the marshmallow man all layered up! haha

Happy Birthday(s)!

This month Elle celebrated her very first birthday! Paul and I cannot believe that our sweet baby girl is already 1 year old! And this day was very special for me not only because it's a great day for me to reflect on the day my children were born, but Elle was my very best birthday gift last year on February 16th! Sharing a birthday with her is so special and dear to me. We just love her so much!

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday and to eat cupcakes!!

I love this picture because of the look on both of their face! I was carrying their cupcakes over and they were both like..."am I getting lucky tonight with a yummy dessert..oh yea!".
Well, this look says it all!
Elle wasn't quite sure what to do with the cupcake...but just wait and see!
She realized that it was super yummy!
We held the cupcake to her mouth and she dove forward into it!!!
Silly girl!
And she didn't stop...
Love my baby girl.
Daddy wanted in on the fun!! :)
And the messy face begins haha!
She was loving all this!
This is when the real fun began!
Oh yea! haha
Such a cutie pie!
Uncle Geoff and Aunt Tricia sent Elle this adorable cupcake headband and it arrived that day! Perfect timing!!
So CUTE! Thanks Aunt Trish and Uncle Geoff!
Beautiful babe.
I can't get enough of this!
The big birthday girl! So thankful for our two babes!
And the other birthday girl! ;)

It's Time for a Wedding!

Last weekend we headed up to Annapolis, MD to celebrate the wedding of Tricia Magnuson and Geoff Leone! It was a fabulous weekend and we were so excited to be a part of their big day! I took several pictures, shock I know :), but some of the pictures are blurry and I apologize about that. But, there are some very special pictures and I am excited to share them! Enjoy and congrats Mr. and Mrs. Leone!!
Checking out the awesome airplanes! Landon had been talking about riding on an airplane for about a week prior. The night before, he didn't fall asleep until 12:30am...all because of his excitement!
He had so much fun on the plane! He had his movie, his wings and he got to meet the pilot! He was a happy camper!
This was Elle's first time on an airplane. She would look out the window and say "wow" and "oh!" haha!
See what I mean...face plastered to the window! :)
Celebrating the soon to be Mrs. Leone! I always love these pics of the three of them.
Elle had a blast in the walker at Nana's house!
Let's go outside Nana!
Anne and I had to chase after her haha! She was a fast little bugger in that thing!
Getting some nice fresh air with Aunt Katie!
Paul had a job interview that morning and I thought this was a cute pic...looking so professional. I'm not used to a suit and tie...only a uniform. But, I guess it's time for a change!
Had to get Nana and Grandaddy in for a pose with the guy in the suit. :)
Lots of activity made this little man pass out in the car before the rehearsal. They are so sweet and innocent looking when they are asleep.
The ceiling in the Chapel at the Naval Academy. It was really neat to be back there almost 6 years after Paul and I were married there. And it was even more special that the same ladies who organized our ceremony were the same ones to do Tricia and Geoff's ceremony!
Meredith and Jenna were in their element with Elle...so sweet.
It's always great when we all get together!
Grannie Annie got in on the fun!
Tricia and her bridesmaids!
Elle loves Uncle Geoff.
Geoff and his groomsmen!
I was trying to get a pic of Hayes and Katie, but Paul insisted on jumping in. :)
The next bride and groom!
Aunt Trish snuggling up next to her little man.
Elle and her beautiful God-Momma.
Grandad encouraging Elle to walk! Little did we know, just a few days later she took her first steps! All that practice was great!
Gramsey and Landon got to have some nice quality time together at the rehearsal!
Aunt Katie and Elle really bonded this weekend!
Uncle Hayes and Landon being bff's. :)
I remember when Paul's 2006 class climbed Herndon.
Rehearsal dinner!
Sister-in-laws!
Fam!
Another great pic!
In less than 24 hours they were to be a Mr. and Mrs.!!
Check out Part I of Mr. and Mrs. Leone!
