Awesome Atlanta

Downtown Marietta...I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time down here.

It was pretty chilly just 5 and a half hours north of FL.  This will take some getting used to.  :)

We ate at a little Italian restaurant and felt like we were in 'The Lady and The Tramp' Disney movie.

My kissy moment with Landon just like in the movie...except no spaghetti noodle.

Love this face!

Elle and Daddy had their own kissy moment.  Elle finished her kiss by saying, MUAAHHH.

At the GA aquarium..this place was awesome!!!

Wow, a whole room walls and ceiling full of fish!

Landon was in awe.

That is a baby whale shark and Paul showing us just how big this thing was!

Daddy and Elle watching the fish swim.

That thing could swallow us whole!

I love these pictures.

The loves of my life.  :)   ...and the super cool fish haha.

Awesome!

I could spend hours in this room.

Elle was mesmerized.

Quick pic with Momma!

God created some really amazing creatures!

In the tunnel!

At the penguin exhibit, you could crawl in a tunnel and pop up and stand right next to the penguins...Landon loved it.

The aquarium is the best place in the world!!  :)

Watching the dolphin show!  Elle sat in her very own seat...she's growing up too fast!

Trying to touch a baby shark...that apparently doesn't bite...we hoped haha.

There is an awesome park in the middle of the city.  We will definitely be spending a lot of time here!

The kids loved Atlanta!

On our way home we saw this in a little ho-bunk town.

Elle being silly.

Landon did great on the ride home!

It was a great week, but Paul and I were spent.  Seeing about 30 houses in one week, exploring a new town/city and doing it all with kids who have to be buckled and unbuckled into their car seats was quite the adventure.  So, to get some tension out, Paul tied my shoelaces together when we were at stop light.  Nice.

Haha, this was one of many stops we had to make for Landon.  But, he's doing great!!!  And had a lot of fun going potty on the side of the road.  :)

And, we made it back to FL...for one more month.  :)

Atlanta Bound

We are really excited for our big move to Atlanta, GA!  We were able to go up there for one week to house hunt and get to know the area.  It was quite an experience...the pictures tell it all!

On our way up to Hotlanta...Landon watching a movie.
Elle was having a great time too!
Excited for our big house hunting trip!!!
The drive was absolutely gorgeous!
And then we got into the city!  haha
The olympic torch from 1996!
This is where Paul will be working!  The whole building is dedicated to INPO..pretty neat.
You can see mountains from the city!
Elle was getting accustomed to our hotel room...home for a week.
Paul's company hooked us up with a suite with two rooms, a kitchen, living room and dining room.  It was great to have for the kiddos.
Our first day in Atlanta was also Landon's 3rd birthday!  After a long day of traveling, we decided a yummy dinner and ice cream at The Cheescake Factory would be fun.
We had a lot of fun at dinner.
Before we devoured the brownie sundae I had to snap a pic of Landon's plate.  :)
After dinner we headed back to the hotel and discovered that every night for 2 hours they have an open bar.  Well after a long 6 hours in the car with the kids (who were great in the beginning and got much tougher as the trip went on) we decided a nice glass of wine/beer would be a nice treat to ourselves.  We knew we were in for a long week house hunting with the kids, so this us predicting how stressful the week was going to be haha.
I found this the next morning.  On top of everything, both of the kids got pretty sick right before our trip, so the maid must have seen all of the childrens medicine I had on the bathroom counter...and she left me this sweet note.  It said, "Relax Mom, we are here to make your stay the best ever!".  Very nice.
Checking out the hotel pool.
Elle having fun with Daddy.
More fun.  :)
Landon loves the pool.  He was getting pretty brave by going a little deeper each step.
Our little man sitting behind the wheel...he felt pretty cool.
Landon's turn to go down the slide!
They both got a kick out of this...Landon almost crashing into Elle.
The trees in this area are so pretty.  Landon loved going to the bottom of the tree and looking up.  Tall trees!
Baby girl trying so hard to play all by herself...she's almost there!  :)
And this is it!!  Our beautiful 'almost' soon to be new home!!
We are so excited!
Landon had fun sitting on the stairs and looking through the rails.
Baby girl loved the green grass in the yard.  All we have in our front yard in our yellow house is sand!!  That's what you get when you live near the beach.
A neat shot from the bottom of the backyard.  I plan to grow Jasmine up the blue poles...it will be so pretty!
Our view from the street.
Nice neighborhood.
Lots of hills!!
This is one of our favorite things about this house!  A great screened in porch!
Our first family photo in front of the house!

It's still not ours yet, but even if it doesn't work out it will always be one of my first memories of Atlanta, GA.
