Sibling Love

Landon is all about his sister these days! He has to be wherever his sister is and he is always trying to hug or kiss her. It's so much fun to watch and it melts my heart every time he loves on her. He is a great big brother and Elle loves looking at Landon. Sometimes it looks like Landon is being a little too rough with her, but you would never know it by the way Elle reacts to him. She lights up when her brother is near her! They are going to be the best of friends and we are so happy they have each other to grow up with.

Hanging out with Daddy.

Cuddling with my two babes!

Landon loves to hug his sister. And as you can tell, he takes it very seriously. :) We are so blessed.
Landon loves to be wherever his sister is!

What a beautiful beach baby!

Our new family tradition...go to Church, get a muffin at the bakery and then play at the park!

Hi Mommy!

Hi Daddy!

Elle enjoyed the park too!

Little Buddah Belly!

Checking out the beach dunes.

Landon fell asleep at the pool and we made him a comfy little bed on a lounge chair. He slept for almost 2 hours!

Elle fell asleep too! Which meant...I got to get a few hours of uninterupted sunshine! It was wonderful!

Our little Arnold Schwarzenegger! He was covered head to toe in SPF and was wearing his life jacket for extra safety while he played near the pool. A little overboard I know, but my baby's fair skin isn't getting burned and there is no chance he's going near that pool without an adult! haha And if it weren't obvious enough, Landon LOVES sharks. Great whites in particular. He calls every shark "Brucey" (from Finding Nemo). He picked his swim trunks out!

A Very Special Weekend

This weekend one of our best friends Stephanie was in town for a visit! It was so much fun and we did so much! The weather was absolutely beautiful! We went to the zoo and saw the "DinoAlive" exhibit, went to the beach, ate some great food, went downtown Fernandina, saw a parade, and enjoyed each others company! The pictures tell it all! She is incredible with the kids and really loves them so much! The time went by too quickly and we wish she was still in Florida with us!

Landon and Aunt Stephanie were making kissy faces when we were out to lunch downtown.

A sweet sleeping Elle.

We got to watch a really fun car parade downtown. Stephanie was sitting with Landon while these really cool cars went by.

Checking out the attractions at the farmers market!

Aunt Stephanie and Elle hanging out on our back porch.

Stephanie is a great photographer...do you see Landon in between Paul and I in the background?

Beyah and Bohdi love the beach!

There was a gigantic tide pool and Landon loved walking through it. He just kept going and going and Stephanie got some great pics!

We had a great walk on the beach!

There are 4 of us now! Every time I see pics like this it makes me so happy!

So excited to get on the train!

Paul feeding Elle on the train at the zoo...he loves his baby girl.

Landon fell asleep on the train...holding Aunt Stephanie's hand.

Landon had a lot of fun watching the dinosaurs with Daddy! It was an awesome exhibit!

Mother-Daughter pic in front of the giant T-Rex! Elle was stretching!

Well, this is a funny pic because Paul and I were really excited about the dinosaur we were looking at and apparently Landon wanted to look at the one behind us!

The dinosaurs looked so realistic! And they moved and growled!

Landon wasn't a big fan of the carousel, but as long as I was holding him, he enjoyed himself.

The Jacksonville Zoo was a lot of fun!

We had a great day at the zoo!

Look at how Elle is looking at her Aunt Stephanie! She is wearing the VA Tech booties that Aunt Stephanie gave her!

We rented bikes and it was a lot of fun! Landon LOVED sitting in his seat!

Landon and Stephanie doing a lollipop 'cheers'! Elle is next to her too!...check out the mirror.

It was an awesome visit!! We love you Aunt Stephanie!

Spring Beginnings

March has been a great month so far. The weather here in northern FL has been amazing...an average of high 60's and 70 degree weather. Everything is in bloom and it really makes you feel good (minus the allergies). We have been taking advantage of the beautiful sunny weather and have been outside a lot. We have continued our home improvements, planted an herb/veggie garden and flowers, taken longer walks with the dogs, gone to the beach, sat at the pool, and just plain sat on our rocking chairs out front or swinging on the hammock! I have been exercising with my mom and gone for great fast walks with the kiddos outside. Pretty much every chance we can get as a family we are outside enjoying the beautiful weather! Paul has finally been able to get out and surf, and Landon even has his baby pool ready for the summer! The other day he and Paul were sitting in it outside just hanging out in it! It was really cute. Elle has been getting her vitamin D and she even enjoys being outside. We love love love where we live! Can't beat living near the beach! :) Happy St. Patty's Day!

Taking a break from surfing.

An awesome picture I got of Paul surfing and a pelican flying by!

Our sweet baby boy taking a look at the beach from the pier.

Landon learned that he can push his 'sissy' in the stroller. He has this proud look on his face when he does it. It's really cute.

This boy is definitely going to be loaded up with sunblock this summer! He definitely got my fair skin...I wonder if he will end up with freckles too?

Mom hanging out at the pool. She will watch the kids so that I can get some relaxation by the pool. It's very nice to get a little time to myself occasionally. :)

Elle hanging out in Landon's old bouncy chair.

I love getting my kisses from Elle. She is so sweet!

Beautiful baby girl.

Poppy stopped by to say hi! He loves spending time with the kiddos!

Landon helped me plant our herbs and veggie plants. He found some ants while he was out there and now has to go say hi to them whenever we are out front in the yard.

Our veggie and herb garden! I can't wait to see what it looks like when everything grows in!

A pretty wreath that I made for our front door. My first time making one and I really like how it turned out! Paul thinks I should start a wreath business...haha, I don't think so. :)

Our newly painted front door and rocking chairs! It's a USNA themed house (blue and gold)...jk. :) Shout out to Anne, aka Nana on the awesome front door!
