Hello to our awesome family and friends!! I have figured out the little blogger problemo that I was having thanks to a few friends and am back on track. I am however, going to keep the new blog that I have designed and let this be archived. You can of course still check it out and look at past posts, but I figure since we have started all over again in Atlanta, GA that it's time to start a fresh blog. My motivations for posting these are so that you all can see what's going on in The Mag Fam since we do not live close by AND so that our family can look back on these pics with descriptions when the kids are older! I love looking at our old family photos and I look forward to those moments with Landon and Elle when they are all grown up! So, with all this being said our new blog address is www.themagfam2.blogspot.com. Check it out!! I am WAY behind on blog posts because of our move, so beware...I may be overloading your email inbox if you choose to follow this blog as well. :) Thanks for all of your support in reading our blogs and keeping up with our fam!! Love, Brooke

Toto, We Aren't in Kansas Anymore!
*Important message at the bottom of this post!...no we are not pregnant. :)
Well, we safely made it to Atlanta, GA! We love our new home and are having a lot of fun putting it together (although it's A LOT of work!). The trees are absolutely beautiful here and it is so green! Reminds me of the community I grew up in, Sherwood Forest back home. Paul and I have spent several evenings now enjoying a glass of wine on our back porch. It's been really great.
But, Atlanta gave us quite the welcome 4 days in...
This is the car that rear ended us at a stop light. He was sadly arrested for driving with a suspended license and had a warrant out for his arrest for drugs. And there was a good chance the vehicle was stolen. So, if we were ever to be rear ended by someone this was not quite the best candidate.
Thankfully, our car received very minimal exterior damage. However, it makes very strange sounds now and is in the shop.
Praise God that none of us were injured, including the driver of the other car. I was turned in my seat looking at the kiddos when it happened, so I experienced a good bit of whiplash. But, the kids' faces once we were hit were priceless...big googly eyes and then they burst out laughing. I guess it was an ideal reaction from a 3 and 1 year old...felt like we were in a ride at Disney to them all snug in their Britax car seats.
And that gave us quite the wake up call and tears of joy rolled down my face as I was thanking God that it wasn't worse than it could have been.
This will be our last blog for this web address. Google has notified me that I have used up all of the allotted space for a blog...man I take too many pics haha. But, it will be worth it when the kids are older and want to take a look back on their past!
*Our new blog will be www.themagfam2.blogspot.com. You will most likely need to sign up again to get the email notifications if you would like them.
See you there!

Shrimp Fest 2012
Another year brings another Shrimp Festival to Fernandina Beach! This is always a really fun weekend, BUT it always happens to fall on the hottest weekend of the year it seems. The food is pretty tasty, the parade is always fun and the art vendors are always fun to check out!! You just have to be prepared for thousands and thousands of people! This year was our last one before our big move to Atlanta. Enjoy the pics!
Elle was fascinated by all of the decorations and people.
Ronald McDonald called out Landon in the crowd telling him he was one tall kid (sitting on Daddy's shoulders)...oh Ronald haha.
Couldn't keep her in the stroller for long! :)
Trying to get a smile out of Landon, but this was as best as he could manage while trying to watch all of the floats drive by.
There we go...sort of! :)
The traditional float celebrating why we all gather every year!
Landon's best bud Lauren loves baby Elle. She was dressed up like a pirate!
They have so much fun together!
Landon and Elle peeking around other people to see what was happening in the street!
My friend April and I posing for a pic...this is Lauren's mommy!
2 peas in a pod.
Pointing at a cool car!
The next day we decided to check out the local vendors!
Stylin' wearing his pirate hat!
Check out that parrot!! It was 35 years old!
Quick hug from my little man.
Mmmm snowballs!!! Life couldn't get any better when I have one of these in my hands!!!
It was so hot, but these were a nice refresher.
Elle wasn't holding back...she was all about eating that snowball!
Shade break!
Love these next pics of Elle...she is so beautiful.
Happy little bug.
Love her.
Landon asked to eat some of Daddy's snowball too!
Checking out some fish in the mobile aquarium!
Horseshoe crabs!!
Great times at the Shrimp Fest. Paul couldn't stop making shrimp jokes :), but it was a good last experience!!!
The kids excited for the shrimp fest earlier in the day before the parade!!

Landon is 3!
We cannot believe our beautiful baby boy is 3 years old!! It feels like yesterday he was born into this world! We had a great little day for him planned at the playground on the island. We invited about 8 of his friends and we all enjoyed playing and eating yummy cake! Landon's 3rd birthday theme was Toy Story!! He had a Woody and Buzz Lightyear cake and all! We love our little man!!
Checking out his cake!
Getting the table set up! Daddy and Elle played a little while before the guests arrived.
Mom and Laur got together for a quick pic!
And our guests started to arrive! Pizza time!
Best friends since birth!
Landon had his best friend Lauren at his party too!
So excited for cupcakes!!!
Yummmm!!!
Howdy friends..To Infiniti and Beyond!
Mmmmm Elle loved the icing!!
She even made a new friend at the party! :)
Lauren and Elle playing together...Lauren always refers to Elle as "Baby Elle".
Playing on the swings with Daddy.
He was just so happy!!
Ahhhhhh...chilling in the swing with Aunt Lonnie. Elle's thinking- Nice breeze and someone pushes me...how relaxing.
Aunt Lonnie made sure Landon knew he had to lick the icing off of the cupcake toppers haha! He enjoyed it very much!
Chasing Paul around the park...who had more fun?
Love this pic...Landon finally caught up to Daddy and he was so happy!
Red in the face..worked hard..time to head home after a great 3rd birthday party!
One more run around the park!
And this is what happened when we came home! So sweet.
And the next day we opened gifts...this face says it all!!! He said, "Mommy, where is our Christmas Tree!" hahaha
