The Red Carpet Gala

Our Church recently had an amazing event for women, the 3rd Annual Red Carpet Gala! This was my first time going to the Gala and it is something I plan to attend every year! It was so much fun and everyone looked so beautiful! There's nothing like getting dressed up and enjoying a delicious dinner and evening with a bunch of friends, and fellow women! We got our pictures taken by a professional photographer in the beginning and were escorted to our tables. Mercy Lokulutu was our speaker for the evening and she was AWESOME! She can get anyone fired up about God and what He can do and does do in our lives! I left there that night feeling so inpsired and an extra bonus...Landon and I have friends to do a play date with every week! We are so excited! Paul, Landon and I are so blessed to be members of such a wonderful Church. We love The Journey!

Tracey, Kerry and I. Tracey has a sweet little boy named Atlas and he is 2 and a half, and Kerry has 2 beautiful girls named Brooklyn and Jordyn. Our play dates are going to be a blast!

Check out the baby bump!

My belly has grown much faster than it did with Landon...I guess it remembers what to do haha!

Disney World and Sea World

We had a wonderful time at the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Sea World! Landon LOVED seeing all of the characters and colors. It's such a magical place and one of my most favorite places to visit! Sea World was one of Landon's favorite days because of all of the fish of course. He would point and say "Ohhhhh". We had a blast and will look back on these pictures and reflect on how much fun we had!

On the monorail headed to the Magic Kingdom!

His first pair of Mickey ears! They fit him better this time than they did the last time we went!

So happy to be in Disney World!

Gma and Landon in front of Cinderella's castle!

Meeting Mickey and Minnie! Landon was a little nervous.

He got tuckered out and decided to take a nice little snooze. We have pictures of Uncle Ryan taking a nap in his stroller when he went to Disney World as a toddler, too...so cute!

Pluto and Goofy!

We watched a 3-D movie starring Donald Duck and Landon actually LOVED wearing these 3-D glasses! It was so funny. He wouldn't let me take them off when it was over!

The Dumbo ride!

We had to get a picture with the Oscar that represents the #1 Dad for Daddy! Landon kept saying Dada, Dada when we were taking the picture. We miss Daddy, but he'll be home soon!

"Ooohhhhh"...watching the killer whales jump out of the water!

Landon loved looking at the dolphins under the water. Just before this picture, we got to touch the dolphins and they splashed us! They were so soft and so sweet.

Eating a snow cone...it was delicious in the 100 degree heat!

So happy...he loves to laugh!

Watching the Shamu Show!

Shamu!

Thank you Gma and Gpa for the wonderful visit to Disney and Sea World!

Phew, almost done! Vero Beach!

Landon and I finished our trip with a nice little visit to my Grandpa's house in Vero Beach. We have decided that Landon should call him Grandpa Doc. I called my Great Grandpa, Grandpa Fish. So, this is very appropriate and we have to carry on a great tradition!

On the airplane ride home. We had our own row! Landon did very well and he loved looking out the window. We spent the night at Poppy's house and then headed down to Vero Beach the next day.

At the Dockside Bar and Grille with Grandpa

Look at how Landon looks at his Grandpa Doc... so cute

Landon and Grandpa at the Country Club

Landon sitting at the Country Club that Grandpa belongs to...doesn't he look like he fits in well! The bartender even brought him milk to refill his sippy cup! He was living it up!

Our visits to Maryland and Vero Beach were both wonderful! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! Landon and I were so thankful to travel because it helps the time pass by faster when Daddy is deployed. We miss everyone so much already and we love you all!

Ulmstead Beach

A few days before Landon and I had to head home, we walked down to Ulmstead Beach with Nana, Aunt Trish and Geoff! Grandaddy was on his way home and he saw us walking, so he drove next to us for a few yards! We took Tricia and Geoff's new puppy Payton swimming in the Magothy River and Landon got to play on the playground. It was really nice to spend time with family!

That's Ray (Grandaddy) driving next to us! I had to take a picture...it was too funny!

Landon LOVED Uncle Geoff...they hit it off right away

It was neat taking Landon to Ulmstead beach where we all have made so many great memories as kids!

Grandad and Gramsey's House

We spent a nice evening over at Grandad and Gramsey's house! Debby put together a beautiful spread of food for us and we enjoyed playing in their newly renovated basement! There is a pool table, a ping pong table, a foosball table and an entertainment center with the MOST comfortable couches on the planet! It was so great for Landon to see all of his grandparents while we were up in Maryland!

Jackson Alexander was the first to greet Landon at the door

Getting loved on by Grandad and Gramsey

Grandad and Landon went for a nice long walk with Jackson. They had a lot of fun!

Uncle Geoff and Grandad playing ping pong...it was very heated. :)

See what I mean! The food spread was beautiful...and delicious!

Playing with Aunt Tricia!

Landon loves his Aunt Patty! :)

Tickle wars!

I love his belly laugh!

We had a nice night with Grandad and Gramsey!

Great Friends

Being home means we get to see a lot of our great friends that we only see so many times a year now that we are living in Florida. It was so good to see our close friends and it only makes us miss Maryland that much more! We are so blessed to have such amazing friends!

Pat and Laura drove by while we were eating lunch at the Sherwood Store. We had to snap a pic!

We spent a wonderful evening at Laura's house and enjoyed a great cookout! Pat's (Laura's boyfriend) grilling skills are amazing!!! It was SO good to see my Sherwood girls and so much fun to reminisce about our old times together! We missed Erin and Mary!
