Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is such a great time of year! We missed all of our family that we couldn't be together with, but were thinking of them and SO VERY thankful for each of them! Psalm 100 was an excellent read in the Bible on this day even though we strive to give thanks every day!

Landon's class had a Thanksgiving celebration!

Landon insisted that his sister wear his Thanksgiving hat! :)

He's an artist!
Elle is such a good eater now! She will literally eat anything (just like her momma haha). Here she was eating some cooked rice. Loved it!
And she has two teeth now!!! Our little chomper!!
Such a happy girl!!
Landon took a candy cane off of the Christmas tree and was hiding under the table. Let's just say that he will never eat an entire candy cane again! Sugar high!

On Thanksgiving day I ended up getting really sick and couldn't eat any food...it was terrible! I think it was my first Thanksgiving where I didn't pile the food on my plate! Bummer! But, we had a nice evening. Mom, Wendy and I got together for a nice pic.
Paul's job was the cut the Turkey. He did an excellent job. :)
Mom the cook! She spent many days planning our meal and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Mmm it all looks so yummy! I have been eating leftovers for 2 days now to make up for not eating on Thanksgiving! Those sweet potatoes with pecans were delicious!
I made the stuffing...YUM!
Tom the Turkey!
Grandpa and Wendy brought the kiddos their Christmas gifts and asked that they open them while they were there. This is Elle's first baby doll!! Brought tears to my eyes. :)
GG and Papa enjoying the day!
Landon opened up one of his presents and it was a toy tool set! As you can see, he was all about the hammer!
Felt like Christmas morning! :)

The entire day Landon would not stop playing with Grandpa. And not just playing, but tackling him! Poor Grandpa was going to wake up to be pretty sore the next day! But, he was a trooper hanging around our 2 year old rough houser!
A few nights later downtown Fernandina was having their Christmas tree lighting and we went to watch it! Nothing better than getting into the Christmas spirit!
It was beautiful!
Landon is all about Christmas this year. All he talks about is Santa. In this picture he was looking for him. :)
Right after the tree was lit!
This happy little lady loved the lights too!
Love my hunny! This is such a great time of year!
Happy Thanksgiving!
