Uncle Ryan loving on his sweet God Daughter. They really hit it off.
We headed to the zoo on the weekend and it was a blast, as always! When I became pregnant with Landon, Ryan started talking about taking him to the zoo. Unfortunately, there weren't any opportunities to do that before now and we finally were able to make it happen!
GG and Elle were having some smiley time. It was a hot day at the zoo!
The boys got together for a quick pose...but, Landon couldn't take his eyes off of the animals!
What a beautiful animal! Landon calls him 'Simba'.
Elle loved looking at the giraffes.
Ryan was super excited to feed them with Landon!
Ryan kept telling Paul to record on the video camera the giraffes' tongue! It was really long and kind of yucky haha.
Landon was holding on tight to Uncle Ryan.
A quiet moment to cool off in the shade and hang out in the water spritzers.
It's nice when both Ryan and I are together with Mom. Ryan is working hard up in Philidelphia and has gone back to school! He is doing really well and we are all so proud of him. And with us being down here in Florida, the opportunities to get together are very slim. So, we cherish every moment. (hmmm, I wonder what Mom and Elle are looking at)
Oh boy, this guy was awesome! Or should I say girl...we think. Like I said earlier, it was so hot and the animals were all staying cool by relaxing and this gorilla was doing a pretty darn good job!
Landon was fascinated by this gorilla. It has become one of his new favorite animals, so he was really in awe when he got up and close with her!
Speaking of Mother and Baby...I love her so much.
And, this is how we ended our trip to the zoo.
Ryan really enjoyed participating in taking care of the kiddos. He even changed a few diapers...and they weren't the "easy" kind hahah!
Loved this one of Paul surfing.
This was Ryan's second time surfing and he did really well. Paul was pretty pumped for him to get up so quickly!
It's like he's been doing it for years.
Awesome shot.
I think Ryan has found a new hobby...when he's near an ocean. :)
These "bonobo's" or chimps as we called them were really neat to watch. We visit the zoo every few months and the last time we visited there were 3 females and 1 male. Well, this time each female had a baby clinging to them. So, the male chimp must have been pretty busy lately. :) But on a different note, it was really special to see the bond between Mother and Baby...very sweet and so instinctive.
