Happy Halloween!
Well, another Halloween has passed us by as a family and each year is getting more and more fun! We had a lot of 'Halloween' activities the entire week and tonight was the final shabang! Landon dressed up as a dinosaur (very appropriate) and Elle was a little lion. Beware: There are quite a few pictures below...Halloween of 2011, enjoy!!!
Hanging out on our front porch in his costume!
So many pumpkins to choose from!
Our little Fernandina pumpkin patch.
We started our week at a fall festival. Baby girls new hair style! :)
Landon loves 'horsies'!
I think he's a little too big for this slide don't you!?
Walking the balance beam with Daddy.
First time getting his face painted!!
Whoah! That's one big bubble!
This was another festival later in the week. He's becoming a pro at getting his face painted! (He didn't need to sit on Daddy's lap this time). :)
Love this photo...we were in line to ride that hayride you see in between Landon and Paul!
Landon's school Halloween party!
He didn't want to wear his costume this day, but he still lived it up!
We LOVE his school!
Check out his plate...what did he go for out of the turkey & cheese sandwich, grapes and goldfish?...the cupcake. That's about right.
He painted this pumpkin a few days before the party! Good job, right!?
Later in the week the YMCA, our gym's daycare was having a pumpkin painting party! Landon was a little sleepy during this event, but since this happened (4 days ago) he has insisted on taking his pumpkin everywhere he goes.
Cute little pumpkins!
Enjoying some pumpkin shaped pretzels.
Some kids were going crazy with the paint!
Downtown Fernandina shops give out candy on Halloween morning!
We met up with some of our friends to trick or treat downtown! Lori and her son Will are on my right, and Laura and her son Ashton are on my left.
He caught on quickly at how fun trick or treating was...free candy!!! (And Mommy or Daddy aren't telling me I can't have it!) haha He kept saying, "I want to go treating".
more candy... inside I'm screaming! hahahah
A dragon and a dinosaur.
Loved this...a school downtown has this giant stroller for their kiddos. I guess if we ever have sextuplets, I know what to do when we need a stroller! haha just kidding, totally just kidding.
Later this evening, we stopped by another fall festival.

Landon was ready for MORE trick or treating!
What a sweet little lion!
haha I had to add this picture...it reminds me of the lion from The Wizard of Oz.
They had bounce houses!!
He was in his element...candy and bounce houses!
Fun carnival games.
I just can't get enough of this.
Such a sweet baby girl.
Love her.
Later that night we went trick or treating in a neighborhood nearby and Landon had a blast. He asked Daddy to carry him in between each house, but as soon as we got to the driveway, he got down and ran as fast as he could to the candy! This is a really neat pumpkin someone carved!
And this is how we ended our night...Landon was hiding under the kitchen table trying to open up some skittles that he had gotten trick or treating. :)
Happy Halloween!!!

Fall Field Trip
Landon's school has been so wonderful for him! I love our rides home from school when he tells me all about what he did that day. They send home his artwork all of the time and it helps Landon remember what their activity was for that day. He is quite the painter and his coloring is getting better every week! His teachers tell me he is quite a snuggle bug. I'm not surprised. :) He went on his first field trip a little while back and he was so excited the night before. His 'field trip' involved him walking outside of his school building to a big fire truck! The 2 and 3 year olds had this kind of field trip and older kids got to actually go to the fire house, but this was pretty neat for these kiddos! Landon was in awe the entire time and didn't really know how to react which was so funny to me because he really wouldn't stop talking about it the night before and on our car ride to school. He got to sit in the drivers seat of the fire truck and go inside and hold the hose! It was a fun day for him and me as his Mommy watching our son experience the first of many field trips.

BIG Milestone for Elle
Today was a big morning in the Magnuson household! Kathryn Elle was standing in her crib! I went in after her morning nap to go get her before we picked Landon up from school and this is what I found! She was so proud of herself and I was freaking out! Landon wasn't found standing in his crib for another few months. Elle is moving along rather quickly and we think it's because she is watching her big brother, trying to keep up. :)

Virginia Beach
Our Maryland trip came to a close with one last stop to visit Tricia and Geoff's house! Their house is so cute and Hayes was there visiting! So, it was a great last hoorah before we headed on the long I-95 home. We headed to the beach to let the dogs run and then when we got home Tricia got home from work! Then later that night, we got some deliciously yummy steamed crabs! First time for Paul and I in like 2 years!
Landon running to Uncle Hayes for a hug...super cute.
Oooohh, a horseshoe crab shell. Landon loves nature.
Racing down the beach with Uncle Hayes.
These guys had so much fun swimming together.
Such a sweet smile.
Payton is quite the beauty.
Uncle Geoff is the best with Elle.
The guys, babes, and pups. :)
I'm telling you...she LOVES Uncle Geoff.
Bohdi is a handome pup.
Still lovin' on Uncle Hayes.
Bohdi and Landon are best buds.
Love my sweet girl.
Aunt Pat came home from work and got to spend some special time with her God Daughter! (I was hiding behind her to take some pics.) :)
She caught me. :)
These two are inseparable.
Happy ladies.
They all headed to the pond, and checked out the ducks and geese.
Ugh oh...Beyah and Bohdi overtook Payton's bed. We tend to bombard homes when we visit.
It was a great way to end a great visit!
