MOSH

We visited the Museum of Science and History a few weeks ago. It was a blast and I had a lot of fun watching Landon run around from exhibit to exhibit with such excitement! We saw everything from the ocean to outer space and everything inbetween!

This was the very first exhibit...he was so excited! He has always loved fish...it was his first word! They also had a lifesize whale model! Maybe he will be a Marine Biologist when he grows up! :)

I love the expression on his face...curious yet excited!
They had a nature exhibit and inside this tank were snakes.
Elle was taking it all in too!
haha I love this picture....there were bugs in this tank and this is Landon looking at me saying "Ewww Mommy, BUGS!". I have taught my son well..bugs are yucky!
Both kiddos checking out the giant box turtles from Florida! They look a lot like the ones in Maryland except they have little points at the edge of their shells. Fun fact: when I was little my brother and I used to catch turtles and put them in the 'Turtle House' that we built for them using wood and we would feed them lettuce and carrots. The ones that didn't escape we would race in the annual Turtle Races in Sherwood Forest!
Wow!! A dinosaur skeleton! Landon loved this...but was very cautious around it haha. I think he was afraid it was going to come alive.
A cute pic of Elle saying "Wooowwww".
Landon explaining to me the different color fish in the tank.
This was his favorite exhibit.
Inside the space exhibit!
It was really dark in there and we were watching a great show about the solar system. It was very child oriented, so Landon really enjoyed it!
Quick pic before the show started!
Our last stop at MOSH was a great indoor playground that was a treehouse!
And as we exited the building there was an awesome piano. Landon played some beautiful music for Elle and I!
Good times in a great learning environment!
